The whale watching season has now begun in Cairns. Come view the spectacular display in the warm tropical waters of the Coral Sea. Half day tours are now running daily, for a limited season.

The 2014 Cairns Ironman will commence with the swim leg in Palm Cove and progress to the bike leg with riders leaving along Williams Esplanade before heading north along the Captain Cook Highway. Palm Cove Tropic Apartments is the perfect accommodation right in the centre of the action and the perfect place to stay for the long weekend.

A day trip to the Daintree Rainforest is a must do when staying in Palm Cove.
Get a new view of the rainforest at the Daintree Discovery Centre. You can climb the tower to see above the canopy, walk through the canopy on elevated paths or stroll along the boardwalks on the forest floor. A must do when visiting the Daintree Rainforest!
And if you are lucky you may spot a Cassowary, we spotted this one on the side of the road on, 3 Nov 2013, near Cow Bay.
